RUSH Skate Ministries (RSM) began in 2005/2006 as a grass roots idea between members of the RUSH staff and local skate park owner Terry Grimble (Duh! Skateshop, Mega Skate Plaza in Fayetteville).  The idea was to hold a Bible study and then let those who came to Bible study skate the park for free afterwards.  Soon after we began kicking around the idea of forming skate teams at each school and holding competitions without realizing just how big the ministry would grow.  Within a matter of months we had skate teams representing 12 different schools in the county competing for trophies and school pride.  RSM also has its own demo team comprised of the top riders and leaders from each school team that travels with the Rush Outreach Team doing demos and sharing testimony of how God has transformed their lives.
