Hey, I’m John Mac and my heart is to see the next generation walk in a real relationship with God.  With this as my motivation I serve as the Youth Pastor at Manna Church of Fayetteville, NC.  I have served in youth ministry for eight years and lead the Youth World Changers services as well as Youth Evangelism Explosion.  My main emphasis for the youth is to release students into ministry. For activities outside of my youth bailiwick, I also oversee the prophetic team at Manna and am a co-leader of the Freedom Weekend ministry. While stationed at Fort Bragg, I joined Manna after being handed a free Pepsi during one of our servant evangelism projects.  I am very happily married to my fantastic wife Deidre and have three incredible little girls. 

What fuels your passion to reach the next generation?
Growing up in poverty and from a broken home, I know what it’s like to live without answers, without hope, without God.  Jesus is the answer, His life gives us hope, and His name means God is with us.  It is my desire to raise up young people that walk in that reality.

What are your hobbies?
Having fun with my girls, serving my wife, do-it-yourself projects on our home, playing and listening to music, cycling, frisbee golf, TrackMania racing, chess, and solitaire (I’m the man!).

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
Cross country road trip with my wife.
