I'm John Wickham, one of the Campus Ministers for Rush Campus Ministries. I came from Montrose, CO to join the 82nd Airborne here in good old Fayetteville, NC. After going to Afghanistan, God rocked my world and I started to live for Him.  After that things, would never be the same. First, I met the woman of my dreams, Kristina, who is way more than I ever thought God would give me.  And then of course came the kids, first Alexis and then Kara. So outside of loving life as a father and husband, I have completed my Associates Degree in Divinity. My heart is to let the world know that God really is real and that meeting Jesus Christ is the best thing that could ever happen to them.

What fuels your passion most for campus ministry?
Watching students meet God for the first time and  how God changes their lives and sets them free into the destiny He has for them.

What are your hobbies?
Mountain Boarding, Snowboarding(which never happens), Disc Golf, Tennis, Golf, MOVIES, Skateboarding, and learning about God and life.

What are your top 3 movies?
Gladiator, all Jason Bourne movies, Nacho Libre/Luther.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
Convinced Kristina to marry me!

What’s the coolest thing you’ve seen on campus as a campus minister?
Students preaching the gospel at an outreach and hands being raised wanting to respond to the call to meet Jesus.
