What’s up, I’m Michael Ray, one of the Youth Ministry Assistants at Manna Church. I also am the Production Manager for any youth event that we have here. I grew up in Fayetteville most of my life, with a few years in between spent in Oregon and oversees. I am 21, the oldest of 8 children, the youngest of whom just turned 7. I have been serving in Youth Ministry since I was 11 years old, so that makes 10 years! I am currently in my Junior year at Grace College of Divinity. What excites me the most is seeing Biblical truth being grasped by the students of Cumberland County, so that they are equipped to spread revival throughout their schools and to their friends and family.

What are your hobbies? 
Frisbee Golf, Ultimate Frisbee, Chillin’ with my bros, hanging out with my great girlfriend, Amber Motley, and eating Sushi.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done?
Spend 2 weeks in Costa Rica, two years in a row on missions trips, and seeing thousands of lives changed. Also, getting really bad sunburn at the beach in Costa Rica.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever seen God do on campus?
At a PS3 contest last year at a RUSH outreach at Jack Britt HS, one of the students shared the gospel and tons of people met Jesus that day.

What are your 3 favorite movies?
The Patriot, The Shawshank Redemption, and A Few Good Men

If you only had $4 in your pocket on a cold winter day, would you buy lunch or Starbucks?
Lunch for sure…a man gotta eat!

East Coast or West Coast?
Ooh tough one! East Coast for friends and family and ministry, West Coast for the beach and beauty.
