Hey, I’m Sarah, wife to my hero and knight-in-shining-armor Shawn Withy-Allen. He’s the best! I’m also the Rush gal for Fayetteville Christian School (Go Warriors!), the RSCM coordinator (I iron out the details), and the representative for the female population amidst all these guys (don’t worry girls—I got your back!). I’ve worked with youth for a while, but first started working with Rush in fall of 2006. I love what I do and am so excited about everything God is doing through this generation!

What fuels your passion for Campus Ministry? 
I am passionate about seeing students have an authentic, life-changing relationship with God and achieve things far beyond what they ever thought they could. I especially have a heart to see girls discover who they are in Christ and how intensely fulfilling a relationship with God can be.  

What are your hobbies? 
I love running--I’m training for a marathon right now (what am I thinking?!? I’m scared). Also: missions, dance, playing the piano, outdoors stuff, spending time with my husband… 

What are your 3 favorite movies?
My all-time favorite movie is Emperor’s New Groove—I laugh every time. As for 2nd and 3rd place: I honestly have no idea. That one would take me a while to figure out.  

If you only had $4 in your pocket on a cold winter day, would you buy lunch or Starbucks?
Hmm…that depends. If lunch involved hot soup I might go for that. Basically, whichever place I could get the warmest thing. I’m always freezing in the winter!!
